Enjoy your next vacation in York Beach Maine. This property is located a very short walk from Downtown York Beach, yet resides on a spacious secluded lot. The house has a large backyard and in-ground pool with plenty of parking.
Also there is a fire pit located in the back yard if you enjoy a night under the stars or gathering with family. The house itself is a little dated but the location to both long sands and short sands is great. There is a full bathroom on the 1st floor and a 1/2 bathroom in the basement for overflow.

Perfect location

Had a great visit. Location is ideal, minutes walking distance to downtown and Short Sands Beach but with privacy. Big yard and fire pit area were great. Pool is not heated and temps were around 75 so we didn’t use it much. Listing is accurate, it is outdated but it’s clean and all that you need. Can’t beat price for location and 4BR private house.

I found out my by the owner/property manager that my cell wasn’t correct, but I could have been emailed. The check in wasn’t clear what to do and the address wasn’t the one on the door. Takes a few dollars to put up the numbers. One of the rooms was supposed to have bunk beds, it didn’t! It had a cot and the bottom of the bunk. All the beds were very uncomfortable. Pictures made it seem so much nicer than it was. The second bathroom was in the basement which is less than appealing where it was situated. The pool leaked and wasn’t the best, but I was given. $200 refund. The fridge door really had to be pushed really tight to keep it from opening or your food goes bad. Shows a keurig in the pictures
there is no keurig , it’s a regular coffee maker. The place is very dated and could use some tlc. We made it work and made the best of it. I would give this place a 3 star.

Beach Vacation with Family

The house is super close to town and a very short walk to both beaches. Everything in the home was as advertised and the owner also reached out to be sure that we understood what to expect. The pool is an excellent addition. We will definitely be back.

We loved the pool, the beds are very comfortable. Living room is comfortable. Wish there was a bigger table to eat at. All & all, very clean and would definitely stay again.

Highly Recommended

We had a great stay. Everything you need is already there. The bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable. Grounds are nice, with a big yard to play in. Easy walk to the beach. And you can't beat having an in ground pool to splash around in. We will definitely return next year.

Good location

We had a family of 8 at the rental. The owner was very on top of the things we requested once we were checked in. The description and pictures are a little vague. Second bathroom (half bath) is actually downstairs in the unfinished basement and needs some cleaning and updating. There are 2 queen beds and one full bed. Not all are queens. It was nice having the pool though it took a couple days to get clean. It was also nice that they provided all the towels and bedding. AC was in every room. Location of the property is as perfect. A quick walk to just about everything. The property was beautiful, nice big yard, fire pit area (which was great to use at night). The outside of the house looked in rough shape but the inside was fine. Needs a little updating but I would stay here again in the future! Thank you Scott!

Pleasant Stay with Surprises.

Just blocks from the beach and downtown. Property addition construction a surprise, but no issues. Pipe water leak in basement required daily attention and toilet in the basement had minor issues. Overall very comfortable. Would stay again.

Recent on Ridge Road in York Beach

Convenient to downtown and beaches. Well stocked kitchen, good bedroom space and A/C units worked well. However the property owner appears to be new and in the middle of construction. There was no notice of construction prior to arrival, landscaping was terrible, front door wouldn’t open, even if it did the thorn bush over took the front steps, no chlorine for the pool, owner never came by to take care of pool so it was brown by mid week, leaking pipe in the basement with water everywhere, 1/2 half is in the basement with all the water and not really usable, and had construction workers come into the house without notice with our young kids there. The property owner seemed nice but I wouldn’t rent this property again unless major changes happened.
