All was fine. Just a one night stay, this is a very convenient location, with parking, and close to York (but avoiding the traffic of York). Having wifi and breakfast are also good reasons to choose this hotel.

Second stay here in a short time. Great location, Toby Carvery next door. Clean room, great breakfast. Stayed 2 nights. Hung towels after use on first day, to find that they had been replaced by one set of clean towels. We would have been happy to use again and had to go down to reception for a second set of clean towels!

when I booked the hotel I booked the Holiday inn York by IHG it was only when we arrived we noticed that this was not the hotel we stayed before and the booking was the wrong hotel and was not a patch on our preferred hotel we spoke to the staff who could not do anything to help us as we booked with hotels.com

Friendly staff, clean room and a very comfortable bed. The only slight downside was that the room was a bit cold and I couldn't get the heating to work - that said if it was freezing i could have asked the team to look at it. Good breakfast options as well
