Little hidden charming Ryokan. Simple and well managed by the age lady boss. I had the individual room with bath tub attached that explains the comfort of the room. Japanese style room (without fridge), Breakfast was simple and elegant. Small outdoor onsen.
Yufuin is a really cute place for shopping that is also close to nature. My stay was very short but the Japanese style room was very comfy. The ryokan is near the train tracks so you will hear trains going by but it wasnt bothersome and they dont go on throughout the night or really early in the morning. The hosts are very nice and quiet. I have tattoos so it was really cool to have an onsen right at the ryokan because it can be a little tricky to find places that accept tattoos (they do exist though). The japanese breakfast was varied and yummy, but if youre unfamiliar with Japanese food it might be an exciting new experience. There is also a cute cat that I saw a few times which was a plus for me.
The ryokan was amazing especially the onsen. The room was beautiful and the lady who ran the ryokan was so sweet and make a delicious breakfast. Next time Iโm in yufuin, Iโll definitely stay here again

It's hard to imagine this kind of service in Japan.
