Afrati villa

Villa Afrati is set in beautiful private grounds amongst lush olive groves, measures 90sqm and is suitable for up to 6 persons.
The stone built villa consists of two storeys. The main entrance lead to a spacious living room with sofa bed, fireplace, television, game player and dining table for six; fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, ice maker, toaster, fridge, dishwasher and all utensils; and wc. The living room has doors leading to a spacious balcony with lovely country and sea views.
A wooden staircase leads to the ground floor where there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, separate bathroom with shower and spacious furnished verandas; utility closet with washing machine, iron and ironing board.

Bedrooms' doors lead to a shaded veranda, to the swimming pool and pool's terrace.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This the second time we have stayed in these villas. This stay was better than the last. The villas are up high so have a wonderful breeze if you open the French doors but an air conditioner was added in the main living room since our last stay a few years ago. A lovely cabana was also added by the pool. It’s the perfect spot to take an afternoon nap in the shade. Aliki is a very responsive host. We love the location because it’s in a quiet neighborhood that is within walking distance of a small market, a cafe and downtown is a 10 minute walk. Fantastic views. The pool is very clean and nice after a hot day. We can’t wait to return and stay here again.

We had an amazing time at Afrati villa. The hosts are very friendly and helpfull.They picked us up from a hotel close by because it’s hard to find for the first time.The house is clean and equiped with clean bedding and towels (also beach towels). The beds are very comfortable. The swimmingpool and terrace outside are amazing!We had a lovely time at Afrati villa and would love to come back again!

een super locatie voor een bijzonder mooi verblijf

Het overtrof de verwachtingen, veel gereisd veel gezien maar dit was qua locatie een top locatie. En de uitleg ontvangst was heel erg goed geregeld niets maar dan ook niets was te veel. maar we hoeften weinig te vragen want alles was compleet. Bedankt voor de gastvrijheid, bedankt dat we van jullie huis gebruik mochten maken. Bedankt dat we konden genieten van de zon gastvrijheid en jullie mooie locatie en land.

The property was perfect, it was clean, fully air conditioned and is the perfect size. The swimming pool is a great feature. The position is great near the main town but far enough away that it’s very peaceful. I would highly recommend it to others and would definitely go back myself.

Perfect holiday

Beautiful villa in a quiet location with sea view. We loved it! Nice patio area and pool with a great day bed for relaxing in. The villa was spacious, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. I’d recommend a car as it’s a bit too far to walk into town although there is a nice bar/restaurant in walking distance. We used this as a base to explore the whole island. The only thing I would say could be improved is the bathroom could do with updating, but it was fine for us. I would recommend this villa for couples or families. There is plenty of room.

Very beautiful place to stay in Zakynthos

Sehr angenehme Gastgeber, welche einem jeden Wunsch erfĂŒllen wenn man WĂŒnsche hat. Das Haus ist wunderschön und abseits der touristischen StĂ€dte, jedoch nahe genug um einen kurzen Bastecher dorthin zu machen. Alles ist sauber und man bekommt wenn man will frische HandtĂŒcher oder sonstiges. Die Gastgeber sind ĂŒber freundlich und sympathisch und geben auch Tips fĂŒr tolle StrĂ€nde und FĂ€hrverbindungen. Alles in allem eine super Unterkunft um Urlaub zu machen.Vielen Dank fĂŒr die angnehme Zeit.

Mixed experience

Things we liked: Good location very close to Zante town with a mini mart and taverna even closer. The pool and back patio is lovely, the house was clean, and the AC works well in the bedrooms. Things we didn't like: The internet is very poor - it only works in the far corner of the back yard. There is no shower - only a hand shower - and no shower door so the water splashes all over the bathroom. The washing machine didn't work and the house wasn't well stocked for a 4-day visit (only 1 dish towel, no soap in shower). The check-in process was strange - we called the caretaker when we arrived late from Athens and she met us in front of a local hotel and we followed her by car to the house. We would've preferred that they sent us driving directions in advance.

Beautiful little house!! The property manager welcomed us and told us about good places to visit and neighborhood hotspots and our stay was wonderul! It was so nice to have a place to relax and enjoy the pool after seeing the sights.

Wunderbar

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Villa. Aliki, die dort fĂŒr alles zustĂ€ndig ist, ist ein sehr liebenswerter und warmherziger Mensch. Sie wohnt nebenan, ist immer zur Stelle, wenn man etwas braucht, ist aber ansonsten unaufdringlich. Sie hat 11 Hunde (sind nur auf ihrem GrundstĂŒck) und Katzen, da sie mit einem Tierschutzverein zusammen arbeitet. Die Hunde sind aber sehr gut erzogen und bellen nur, wenn man kommt oder wegfĂ€hrt. Ansonsten sind sie ruhig. Die Katzen bekommt man nicht zu sehen. Nur Kula, eine Katze mit drei Beinen, hat ab und zu oben vor der HaustĂŒr auf unserem Parkplatz gechillt. Sie ist aber ziemlich scheu. Das Haus war sehr sauber und hatte wirklich alles was man braucht. Es gibt allerdings nur eine Klimaanlage in den beiden Schlafzimmern, die aber angenehm leise sind. Im Wohnzimmer war es bei der Hitze schon sehr warm (gibt einen Standventilator), aber auf den beiden Balkonen lĂ€sst es sich sehr gut aushalten, da dort meistens ein angenehmer Wind weht. Außerdem ist die Aussicht sehr schön. Auch im Wohnzimmer ist es tagsĂŒber ertrĂ€glich, aber nachts wĂ€re es wahrscheinlich zum Schlafen zu warm gewesen. Nun war es wĂ€hrend der 2 Wochen auch extrem heiß! Der Pool ist groß genug und sehr sauber und auch ohne Schirm gibt es immer Schatten - und SonnenplĂ€tze. Man kann morgens direkt in den Pool springen, um wach zu werden! Das Einzige , was uns ein wenig gestört hat, war dass das WLAN nicht in den Schlafzimmern funktioniert hat. Am Pool, auf den Balkonen und oben im Wohnzimmer ging es aber. Auf der ganzen Insel ist der Internet - Empfang sehr unterschiedlich und oft schlecht, aber fast jedes Lokal oder GeschĂ€ft hat Internet (WiFi - weifei gesprochen) und auf Nachfrage bekommt man das Passwort. BettwĂ€sche und HandtĂŒcher werden gestellt und je nach Bedarf auf Nachfrage erneuert. Die Pool - HandtĂŒcher darf man auch mit zum Strand nehmen. Die SchrĂ€nke bieten ausreichend Platz. Es gibt ein Bad mit Dusche und Wanne unten bei den Schlafzimmern und eine Toilette extra, oben im Wohnzimmer. Wir waren zu viert und konnten uns gut arrangieren - brauchen aber alle nicht allzu lange beim Duschen :-) Im Bad ist das Licht etwas dunkel, aber in den Schlafzimmern sind Spiegel und ausreichend Licht. Den Fernseher haben wir nicht genutzt, daher kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Allgemein haben wir uns sehr, sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und können die Villa absolut weiterempfehlen!

Wonderful Villa

We LOVED our stay in this Villa. The stone walls and location high up on the hill offered cool breezes. VERY CLEAN, great view. We loved the pool. Very close to Tsilivi, Plano beach and downtown Zante. It was close enough to walk to downtown if you are a walker or runner yet felt nice and secluded because of the location. Highly recommend!

Sehr schön

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit in Akrotiri verbracht. Beim Ankommen waren wir etwas irritiert. Die Vermieter wohnen direkt nebenan und haben viele Hunde, die uns lauthals begrĂŒĂŸt haben. Aber spĂ€ter war es kein Problem mehr. Außerdem sind sie eingezĂ€unt. Auch fĂŒr eine Tochter, die etwas Angst vor Hunden hat, war dann alles okay. Das Haus ist gut eingeteilt und es gibt alles, was man benötigt. Die zwei kleinen SupermĂ€rkte versorgen einen mit allem, was man benötigt und zum tollen Obst- und GemĂŒseverkauf ist es mit dem Auto auch nicht weit. Richtig toll war der Pool und der Blick aufs Meer. Wir sind jeden Tag geschwommen und am Abend noch mit Poolbeleuchtung ins Wasser gesprungen. Man hat auf allen Seiten des Hauses eine Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen. Gutes WLAN gibt es draußen am Tisch beim Eingang. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Uns hat es gut gefallen!
