Overall we had a good stay at this hotel, the room was clean and comfortable, it was a bit smaller than some of the other rooms we had stayed in but it was in a major town so that was to be expected. The room was supposed to have a kettle however the base plate was there but not the kettle. My husband mentioned this at reception (we didn't want them to think we had taken it) and was told that was because we had a coffee machine however we didn't. When we told the guy on reception he said we will get one left in your room. When we returned there was no kettle there. It wasn't an issue as we carry one with us but it just didn't sit well. On the plus side the breakfast here was fantastic, plenty of choice to suit every taste. The shower was good and the bed was comfortable. The location was also perfect for our needs very close to the train station and trams also central to Zurich town. I would recommend staying here, particularly if traveling by train.

Very convenient next to the Zurich main train station, the building interior has been nicely decorated and designed, the rooms could use a little maintenance, yet very acceptable for the pricing, breakfast is good enough, staff very friendly I would come back here!

The room was uncomfortable and poorly maintained: the mattress and topper slid off the bed, headboard was loose, duvets and pillows were old and flat, there were hairs and rice on surfaces, the TV had no streaming or screen-sharing, and the elevator was noisy.

The bathroom was full of black mold. The wall to the door was bubbling up and the ceiling had black residue. There is no ventilation in the bathroom. We just stayed overnight and had a busy day after check in. We were in room 101 or 102 near the elevator.

I booked a room for three adults, there were three single beds in the room with hardly any room for our luggage without feeling like it was a fire hazard. The thermostat did not work and it was extremely hot in the room and very uncomfortable to sleep. The pillows were paper thin. The shower had no hot water. I asked the desk if they could send maintenance to the room while we were out walking the Christmas Markets and getting dinner and when we came back 5 hours later no one had visited the room or fixed any issues. I loved Switzerland, but when we return we will not be staying here.

Easy check in and out, the room was good size and clean. Great location next to train station but also nice street. Soft bed. Walls were pretty thin, could hear guests on other side of wall. Hotel kindly prepared to-go breakfast for us on our early departure but it the meat smelled bad to us and we didn't eat it.

I didn't book the smallest room, but I got a small, dark room with a broken light fixture that was supposed to be attached to the headboard, but it simply wasn't there, leaving only wires sticking out. We only stayed one night, but that was enough to ruin my impression of Zurich. The breakfast was so-so, nothing special. It would have been nice if there were stickers describing the contents. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
