Staff were friendly. Underground access to waterfront station directly from inside the hotel. Starbucks is right outside the front door. Bellmen are only too happy to ensure you are kept safe and can answer any question you have. Concierge service was also fast and reliable. Shuttles park directly out front and made it very convenient for tours, excursions, etc.

Excellent location for those who is on a tour and enjoy the city walks. Old fashioned but elegant hotel, age can’t fully cover its old glorious days. If there’s anything I don’t like about our stay, probably is lack of modern phone charging station near the bed, my wife occupied the side of bed with the USB charger, and I had to charge my phone in the bathroom at night. Of course, $50CAD self parking per day is overpriced, but hey, it’s probably reasonable to park in downtown Vancouver.
