    "Outstanding experience, perfect location"
The good: The ambiance, quality of fixtures, and quality of dining and shopping in and around the hotel is outstanding. The front desk staff is professional, courteous, and accommodating. The location is among the best, being connected to Union Station by way of the PATH. It's a beautiful hotel with an old world meets contemporary feel. The bad: The hotel is supposedly non-smoking, but we stayed during Caribana, which apparently is a great time to indulge in pot smoking. We moved to a room along the perimeter because the halls were so full of smoke. The problem is that the hotel does absolutely nothing to enforce the non-smoking policy, despite exiting the elevators on every floor and walking into a pot cloud. It was obvious just by walking by the rooms from which ones the smoke originated, but the hotel seemed not to care. This part was VERY unfortunate.

    "Great location"
Enjoyed the stay, I was there on business bur the location gave my wife a lot to do and see while I was working. After hours was nice and having choices for dinner was a plus. This Hotel is due is due for a refurb which it is getting currently. If I am in this area again I would not hesitate to stay here again. The staff was on top of everything and very helpful. Parking was a bit of an issue with the Pan-American games in town but was not impossible.

Didn't expect this hotel to be so large, have such classy décor, and have such a large and varied restaurant for meals. Great outdoor patio. Walking distance to major Toronto attractions. Reasonable price. Would definitely look to stay there again. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to serve.

"The place to stay in Vancouver"
I loved staying here and the location is perfect! Without a car, I was easily able to bike to and around Stanley Park, take the ferry to Granville Island and take a beautiful walk to Gastown. The staff at this property were some of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met. If you're a Starwood Preferred Guest, the perks are awesome including a delicious breakfast in the morning (not your usual continental) and wonderful tidbits in the evening that are more like a meal than hors d'oeuvres. I look so forward to returning to Vancouver and will absolutely stay at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre again.

    "Vancouver Stay Over"
We were coming off of a 14 day land cruise of Alaska and decided to unwind in Vancouver. The hotel was a great location with many things to walk to. It was also easy to get no on the bus or train to get to those locations that were to far to walk. since we are seniors (over 60) the bus and train fares are reduced. The Skytrain to the airport is a piece of cake. From the hotel to the airport was just over 1/2 hour. Leaving 2 hours before boarding time was very doable. If you are flying back to the states you go through US Customs and Immigration at YVR (the airport). This makes your next connection much faster.

"Even though it was their off season, it was great!"
Even though it was their off season, we were so taken care of. Everyone was very attentive and helpful. The location was centrally located to all the sights. Public transportation was at our finger convenient. We didn't want to go to the tourist restaurants, so the knowledgable staff had great recommendations for us,

    "Good location"
Intercontinental Montreal was in a good location to enjoy both old town and the annual comedy festival. The restaurant had major speed of service issues at breakfast due to no one to clean the tables. It forced us to relax though!

"Business Hotel / Not so good for children"
We have two teenagers. The room were got was on the 18th floor next to a room with a crying baby. Felt like other families were all put together on the same floor. Not a big problem but it is what it is. Hotel was full of conferences so there were a lot of suits and corporate activities. Car Valet has no idea what a valet is supposed to do. I called for the car and they responded by saying that I should come down and THEN they would get my car. That's the whole point of a valet... i'm calling to get the car so I don't have to wait 15 minutes smelling exhaust fumes with the wife and kids. You can self park for $8 cheaper per day seven floors down. Felt a little like the Seinfeld episode where they know how to take the reservation but they don't know how to hold reservation. Swimming pool and sauna were clean and nice (open 6am to 10pm). Restaurant in the hotel was expensive. $25 for 2 eggs w/ bacon. Walk a block north to St. Catherines and get same breakfast for $6 at Rubens. Great location for shopping. Not so great location if you want to spend time in the Old Town. You have to drive or take a taxi. Night club was rocking on the weekend. Rooms were clean and beds were plush and comfortable. Good for a business traveler or singles but not for families. Wouldn't stay again there with kids.
