Breathtaking view

Our stay at The Oakes Hotel was amazing! We had a suite on the 18th floor with a breathtaking view of Niagara Falls. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the staff were kind and welcoming. We also received discount coupons for the hotel’s own restaurants, which offered excellent food and great service. Highly recommended — we’d definitely stay here again!

We were disappointed with the I HOP down from the hotel. It was a very expensive breakfast.Staff were amazing but those prices are double from elsewhere around town, The Oakes was just an average place to stay, the staff were all friendly and accomadating but the place was nothing to bragg about. We will look elsewhere next time.

The Filipina lady at the front desk, I forget her name, when i checked in was so sweet. We chatted for a while. She made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and told us to call if there was anything she could do. It was nice to have such a genuine person serve me. Sometimes service workers come across as fake nice or forced. None of that. Great eye contact. Big smile. Wonderful person. You're lucky to have her. Treat her well.

Unfortunately our stay was not what we hoped for. Our first night we stayed in a room on the 2nd floor. We had to carry out luggage up 2 outdoor staircases. The next day we moved to a pre-reserved room, but it wasn’t ready at check-in time. They also charge $50 per day for parking. That was refunded,but,we didn’t know that during our stay.
