I've stayed at this hotel many times. The last time I stayed here was in 2016. When I stayed in 2016 everything had been updated. New floors, new bathrooms. Everything was new and clean and nice.
Before 2016 the last time I stayed here was 2011. The rooms and everything were older, but still nice for how old they were. They were clean and not really any issues.
Now I just stayed here in April 2024. The beds were good, the floors were food. Aside from those two things, nothing was good. The bathroom was old and dirty. There were rust stains on the towel rack and even on the floor under the sink. The room and bathroom looked better in 2011 before is was renovated.
If all rooms were like mine, I think that renovations need to be made to all rooms. The price is on the cheaper side, so I wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel, but I was expecting more.
Right next to this hotel, Alamo Inn, is Annaheim Discovery Inn and Suites, it's a little bit more expensive, but it's worth it to not have to deal with the outdated and dirty Alamo Inn.
On that note, I wanted to mention that the staff at Alamo Inn are amazing. Super helpful, kind, and friendly. The cleaning staff does a great job. The hotel is not dirty because of the cleaning staff, it's dirty because it's old.
As of right now, I would only recommend this hotel if you had no other choice. If they renovate and update their rooms, that might change.
