Beautiful grounds
Well known for luxury, Barut is nicely decorated and fit out but it is an old building, not attractive from the outside. The staff is generally good, friendly and most speak extremely good English. We had issues with service and attitudes of the staff and the Guest Relations manager Murside immediately took action and we had dinner in the restaurant reserved for the residents of the Villa area called Bayou Villas. What a fantastic restaurant with 5 star food and presentation, the grounds are immaculate and perfectly designed. All in all we were impressed with the Guest Relations team, the front door team, drivers and a reception. The bartender who served us was less than acceptable and a few others. In the end we visit 2 hotels in Antalya a month for the past year, Barut being listed in the top 10 matches with those expectations. Worth the visit.

This place is incredible, it's like a village on a beach with restaurants, bars, various lounging areas & multiple pools, activity areas, entertainment venues, sports facilities, steam, sauna, spa & more, but their biggest asset is the staff. Great service with a smile. The hotel is exceptionally clean throughout, the interiors & rooms are beautiful and there is lots to explore around the attractive, well maintained grounds. The beds are comfortable with different types of pillows. The hotel is ultra all inclusive & they really mean it. There is a large variety of food & drink available 24hrs a day in the buffet restaurant & there are a number of other restaurants/bars to choose from which are open at various times of the day. Not all of these are open year round, but there was still plenty to choose from. We came in winter, some parts were closed off, but it really did not lessen our experience. This hotel has 2 heated swimming pools, 1 indoor & 1 outdoor, so it is great for a winter break. The hotel is family friendly with kids & teen clubs. Daily activities for all, Archery, tennis, air rifle, darts, boccia, crafts, Turkish lessons, Zumba, pool aerobics. Every night there is a 21.30 show, disco and music in the bar. Excellent New year gala & 2024 party, the animation team were brilliant all week & all the hotel staff no matter what their job, work hard to ensure you are happy, none of them accept less than perfection. Not enough space to write everything, recommended.

The resort is lovely, spacious, clean and peaceful. They have a fantastic team who are attentive, courteous and warm. The food options are great, they have a varied menu everynight and they have additional independent restaurants. The resort has an extensive activities timetable, pools, spa, sauna, steamroom and turkish hamam. All facilities are clean and well maintained. For me, I noted two things which were frustrating. Firstly, the shower water pressure in my room was very weak and it took so long to shower because hardly any water came out of the shower heads. The second issue was that some people had robes for when using the spa and pool facilities, but when I asked, no one had any idea how I could access a bath robe. It was really annoying using the spa facilities and then having to wrap towels around myself to walk through hotel to get to my room. I ended up putting clothes over my wet swim suit and going up to my room to have a weak shower.
