Really enjoyed our stay here. The penthouse suite has fantastic views of the city! And the front desk people are very friendly and helpful. Parking as great and it's in a super convenient location to walk.

Great Location, Bring Back the French Toast!
I've stayed at this location several times and it has always been a great stay. Atlanta has a plethora of hotels to choose from and the reason my family and I always choose this one is due to the location (literally right beside the aquarium) and the breakfast French toast. I was quite sad when I was informed that the menu changed and French toast was no longer made to order. I was informed by one of the restaurant employees that post-covid, changes were made to the breakfast menu. This hotel had the best French toast my family ever had (compliments to the chef!)! They did have French toast as an option but it was nothing like it was before. Now it's just toast put on a platter. Previously it was made to order with powdered sugar, whip cream, and strawberries and it was so good! We'll miss it but unfortunately being close to the aquarium isn't enough to continue staying at this location. It was amazing while it lasted. The employees are all amazing.

We really enjoyed that this hotel was walkable to many attractions and restaurants. However, I feel we had trouble with the hotel itself from the beginning. Upon check in, we were told there was no hotel parking and we had to pay $40-$50 PER NIGHT to park in the parking deck. This information was not on Expedia’s website nor the hotel’s website and no one called or emailed to let us know about this. This was extremely frustrating and when I expressed this while checking in, I was pretty much given a shoulder shrug. The other problems we encountered was that the room key card was our “ticket” in and out of the parking deck, which stopped working twice and we were stuck for 15-20 minutes each time trying to get a hold of someone to come let us out. One morning, the only 1 of the hotel elevators were in service. While waiting for them, a maintenance worker came by and told us to take the stairs downstairs. We took the stairs and were then locked inside of the staircase! When we finally got someone to open the door, my husband informed the front desk of what happened and they told us we should not have been in the staircase. No concern over the fact that an employee told us to use them because of the elevators were not working and no concern that the doors were locked (fire safety!). Also, a small complimentary breakfast is not offered. The only breakfast offered is a small hot buffet for $19 a person or continental breakfast for $12 a person.

Great Staff, but you can’t sleep
Hotel staff was excellent. Our room was directly across from a giant electric billboard that flashed all night long. The blackout curtains don’t meet all the way so flashes of light kept us up all night. The area we were in was very loud as well. Sirens, cars, trains all night long. Again, staff is great but I won’t stay at this location again.
