Front desk was not professional after being placed on hold four times when called to advise of my late arrival for checking in due to my flight being delayed. When I arrived I had no reservation the front desk said they think my card was declined. I check my credit card and the charge appeared in 01/2024. Expedia sent me a confirmation email stating I paid for the stay of two queen beds. Then when Expedia called the front desk they said they only have king rooms available. This took over an hour and it was now 1am when the front desk told Expedia yes they can rebook for two queens. Expedia took the time to fix the hotels error and never did I once receive an apology. The front desk kept repeating that we need to talk to the manager the following day. Luckily Expedia finally got me checked. The gym was a joke when most of the machines did not work and only machine had a sign of it not working. This was the worst experience I have ever had and do not recommend this hotel.

Our stay was great. There was a wait due to a new hire being trained, but both were very friendly and kept apologizing for the inconvenience. The room was very clean, the water was fine, I know some reviews mention it not being hot enough but at least in our area that was not an issue. The breakfast was decent. Fresh fruit, waffles, biscuits, sausage, egg, toast, variety of yogurts, cereal and milk, coffee, orange juice, and apple juice. Over all enjoyed the stay, will definitely book again.

First off the girl at the front desk was training another girl which was fine, but the girl training her was short and kind of rude when I asked a question on a paper she was having me sign. The hotel smelled of stale smoke from the nasty ripped carpet in the hallways. Definitely needs a complete overhaul. The first night the water for our showers were barely warm. And the walls are paper thin and could hear every noise in the hallways. The parking lot was not maintained at all. There was huge uneven areas all over there parking lot and cracks that are a major fall risk. With saying that as my 82 yr old Mother and I were loading our car at the back entrance we saw that it was a very unsafe area to walk due to cracks and very unkept pavement so we were be very careful and watching where we walked and still my Mothers shoe caught in one of the cracks on the pavement by the back and and she ended up falling down! We will never stay at that location or any other Laquita hotels again. Something needs to be done before someone seriously injures themselves!! Very unhappy
