The only negative I had was I was expecting to eat in the bar and they had someone call in sick, so no food was available. Had to go out, many options within a short distance. Other than that very nice place to stay in Barstow.

The only issue we had was the hotel had two names with the same address. One I booked under Fairfield Inn and the other was Towneplace suites. When I booked I said I was bringing my service dog. And I booked Fairfield inn when checking in the gentleman said you need to call Expedia and let them know I had to book Towneplace because of my dog. Well I didn’t quite understand and told him she was a service dog under ada law she needs to be with me. I thought I had to go to another hotel and didn’t realize it’s the same hotel just under different names. The manager was very nice and said he would just get the reservation under Towneplace suites and we got our room. The only confusion was I did not know about the two different hotels with one address. They allow pets at the Towneplace and not the Fairfield side. Eventhough mine is a service dog for my seziures. At the end it didn’t matter the staff and manager were very helpful and we got a nice room and were treated well. The only thing was for people with pets there is a difference what name to book. Anyone with pets is Towneplace Suites.

Barstow California is probably one of the least homeless cities of California. However, this is a comparison to the larger cities in the state. Which is not saying much. Nonetheless, it is a fantastic location if you are temporarily working at Fort Irwin.

Nice, newer and clean
Hotel is newer and nice and clean. Bed was a bit uncomfortable for my taste. The big gap under the door at night lets in a lot of light. The free breakfast was really good. Location is excellent to the outlet mall and lots of eating nearby. I would recommend this place and absolutely stay here again in the future.

This was a beautiful hotel that met all of our needs. It was clean, great staff, great breakfast and nice rooms. We will be staying here on our next visit.
