While recently remodeled, some quirks keep this place from being one I would recommend. The water never really got hot. The phone was stuck with the messages light flashing. When I inquired about it, the front desk said that's just how it is and I could unplug the phone if I wanted (I did). And the breakfast was limited, not very good, and the one trashcan was overflowing. I slept fine, the place was fine, I would stay again only at a lower rate and only if the other places in the area were unavailable.

The bathroom had a pungent mildew smell to it, so we had to keep the bathroom vent on during the entire stay. The room door had several dents in it where it appeared it was kicked in. There were no towels in the pool area and we had to ask the 2nd shift front desk clerk to supply towels. Also, during check-in, the clerk was asking obtrusive questions as to why we were in Beaver Dam and then kept responding with other questions that were none of her business. Overall, not a good experience and would not recommend. Should not be under the Comfort Inn Flagship.

Recently updated.Some of the new work is not well done. i.e. the swimming area floor is already peeling. Typical hotel breakfast. Good size gathering/eating area.

This is a beautiful, newly renovated hotel. The rooms are spacious, very clean and quiet. The bed and comforter are so comfortable. Staff was friendly and efficient. Lots of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Really enjoyed my stay (which was for business) and would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area.
