I have stayed here three times now and always enjoy a warm welcome, outstanding continental breakfast, quiet room with books and magazines rather than a televison, decorated to compliment Boston's history and make you feel right at home. I far prefer this small BB to a large commercial chain hotel. Parking deal at the Common's Parking Garage was easy to use and saves money. Very pleasant short walk to the hotel through the park.

The College Club is one of the most interesting places I have ever stayed. Very unique and charming. It’s like you go back in time to 19th century in a brownstone building. Like in a movie 😀. The room is much more spacious compared to other modern hotels in Boston. Perfectly located in Back Bay, looking right straight to Commonwealth Avenue, one step to Public Garden and easy walking distance to Downtown or Boylston! Staff is friendly and helpful. Simple breakfast yet sufficient. And free coffee and cookies all day. Seriously, what else are you looking for? Definitely my top choice if I visit Boston again.

Wish I had longer to stay

Pros: bed was really comfortable and there was a book shelf filled with books in my room, the lobby, breakfast room, everywhere and no TVs! It was awesome.
Cons: Next time I would get a room with a private bath for convenience. I had a shared bath but never actually saw or heard another person on my floor
was perfect for a single woman who had research in the area. Theres nearby long term parking and tons of great restaurants, and the park is a block away, lots of shopping too. It was quiet, comfortable, cozy and had air conditioning. Only place I will stay in Boston in the future

Beautiful location

Bathroom not on suite but I think I was the only person using it (from floor plan only 1 other room possible). This is reflected in price which was excellent value. Breakfast very adequate. I was able to leave my case for later pick up and when I got there had a cup of tea and cookie, a welcome rest before leaving Boston.
