Not the level I expected from Hilton
The hotel was generally clean and the majority of staff were very helpful and friendly, there were however varying levels of knowledge within the restaurant when it came to allergens. The breakfast was pretty good, despite the lack of mushrooms on the menu which limited the hot breakfast options for vegetarians quite a lot. The room had several issues such as a non functional heating system, a partially functional shower and an issue with the TV that left us unable to access the room information screen. The shower also suffered from the placement of the toiletries on the wall (2 x shampoo, 1x conditioner?) that squeezed you into a tight space against the shower curtain. Also having a door onto an adjoining room in a dog friendly hotel can lead to a pot luck night of sleep. Finally being charged a daily rate (£6 per day) to park at a hotel youre staying at to me feels a bit cheeky.

Booked 3 rooms Arrived at reception to be told they only had a booking for one room. Totally unhelpful and did not try to resolve. Spent 45 minutes sat in reception whilst we contacted hotel.com support, they then arranged for the hotel to provide us with the 3 rooms we booked. Why could the hotel staff not help us? or even offer a complimentary cup of coffee whilst we sorted it out with hotel.com Pretty poor customer service from Hilton. Thank you to Hotel.com for sorting it out with the hotel

Very comfortable stay
Very comfortable stay. The bedroom was well equipped, clean and the bed very comfortable. A good sized and clean swimming pool with a whirlpool pool, sauna and steam room. The sauna was excellently hot. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I asked for soya milk in my room for tea and vegan options for breakfast and was helped with these with no fuss. A very pleasant stay and I will book here again.

Well presented hotel. Foyer and bar are great. Staff were welcoming, even got free cookies on arrival. Room was spacious and clean. The pool was a decent size and changing rooms were fine. Would recommend.
