Gorgeous horse farm on the northeast Cape fear River, close to UNCW and multiple beaches. Serenity in the country! Enjoy the views of the river, horses, donkeys and pigs from our lovely porch. We can add on kayaking, fishing, or horse riding activities during your stay! Perfect for star gazing next to a campfire! We are just a few miles from grocery shopping and downtown Burgaw as well.
This is a shared property and I live in the attached garage efficiency apartment with my daughter. This is a large property and there are 2 long term ranch hands who live in RVs on the other side of the property (not visible from the house). The property feels quiet and secluded. It is bordered by a slow moving creek that is easy to paddle, or you can bring your own boat or jet skis and use the launch. I can provide cart rides or horse riding experience on certain weekends. Please contact prior to booking with questions!

Relaxation
This place was amazing. Very very clean and all accommodations where what was in description and even more then what we expected. The host was awesome . Very friendly would always ask how things are . This is one of the best places that offers relaxation away from city . Country setting was awesome along with all the friendly farm animals . The pigs are so friendly and yes the cat finds it way in to say hi . I would highly recommended this place all day long . We will be staying here on our trips to see grandkids. Thank you once agai. For making our stay awesome .

Great Experience
We loved staying here! We came to the area to visit our daughter and her family and to celebrate our granddaughter’s first birthday. The house is darling. Very comfy, well equipped and spacious. If the rental just included the house this review would still be positive. But the addition of having pigs, donkeys, horses, dogs, cats, the land, the river right outside the door makes this place extra special!! We loved feeding the pigs and having them follow us around. Our granddaughter got to meet all the animals which was a great experience for all of us. This place is a little hidden gem. We will definitely be back.

Weekend Family Trip
We had such an amazing stay. The property is absolutely gorgeous & having the animals is such a plus! Our daughter had the time of her life with the horses & pigs. It was a refreshing experience when you’re from Florida. We would definitely stay again, & recommend to friends & family.
