I would give them 0 stars, but had to give it a 1. RUN AWAY!!! DO NOT STAY HERE. Check in was good. Staff friendly. That's the only positives. Got to room, it is an older hotel and needs updating and has that "old" smell to it. Since I was alone, I wasn't concerned until I noticed the bed was in horrible shape. Again, I'm by myself, just drove 8 hours with a 102 fever. I just wanted to lay down and rest. Went to get dinner later in the evening, there were multiple people hanging out in the stairwell just sitting there drinking beer. Went to bed, woke up and noticed multiple bugs on the walls. After futher inspection, you could see where people had smashed many other bugs on the walls. The towel rack in bathroom was rusted and falling off the wall. The bath tub had a huge crack in it. I had enough and checked out 1 day early. Contacted Hotels.com and they initiated a refund. Hotel then decided to charge me $25 before crediting me $55. Complete crap, but if that's how they want to do business. I will make sure I advise all my friends and family and social media to stay away from all Econo Lodge Hotels. And if Hotels.com agrees with their practiced for such crappy service and horrific lodging. I will also advise to use other sites to book their lodging. No excuse for how I was treated. All I wanted was a full refund for the day I cancelled. Even though I should get a full refund because this was the worst hotel experience in my entire life!!!!!
