As non-gamblers, we were a little nervous about staying at the resort, but it was convenient for us when traveling to Carbondale to see the eclipse. Its location is great, close to both the airport and to Carbondale, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier, really terrific. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the food in the restaurants surprisingly good, though they did run out of some items. The spa is also extremely well appointed, though not yet fully functional (no massages yet).

Best casino for raw food & cold showers
Hotel was beautiful and clean( it's a new hotel). Dinner at the sports bar had our entire party served super rare burgers. We played slots for 5 hours, only one waitress stopped once for drink orders. Every room in our party (on second floor) tried to take a shower the next morning, no hot water was to be had by any of us. Beautiful new hotel but terrible dinner service, inedible food and cold showers won't have us rushing back.

Fairly new hotel, very clean and comfortable. Staff was new but very helpful. Casino is in same building , also has a Winery close on property.

The immediate area around the Casino is very nice. The Casino was impeccabley clean with the best staff I have experienced. However the surrounding area in and around the city of Carbondale is blighted with derelict buildings and high crime. I remember when Carbondale was a nice area at one time. What happened?

Bar tenders very rude… housekeepers very loud in the morning. No hot water. Staff followed my husband around the casino for no reason not drunk just playing slot machines spent 30 mins and then left because of the uncomfortable feeling we had with one of the casino managers. For the amount of money charged for a stay it is not worth it I was very disappointed. This was my honeymoon and it was not something that is an experience that can’t be replaced.
