Avoid Baymont Inn and Suites in Clarksville, TN
I requested an accessible room but when I got there was told there weren’t any. I am handicapped and have great difficulty with stairs. I ended up getting a room on the second floor with no elevator. When I left the lobby I saw that there were rooms that were empty and still being cleaned. The next day I returned to my room and found that I had been locked out! This required additional trips up and down the stairs. When I confronted the desk clerk I was angry and tossed the key card on the counter. It bounced off and hit the clerk in the chest. He ordered me out of the hotel and refused to let me speak to the manager. I ended up calling the police who then said that the hotel was not going to allow me to stay. I was also told that the hotel was going to authorize a refund of my room fees.

Enjoyed our stay at the Baymont
We have stayed at this hotel before on our way to Florida. We are there one night only. The bed is comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.
