The property was convenient for being able to access the majority of the National park sites. We were able to venture out in the morning & evening while relaxing during the heat of the day at the resort. The room did not appear to have been recently upgraded, there is only a mini fridge, no microwave in the room or drinking cups. The food options were disappointing. We did not bring food to the resort so we had a choice of the shop, the buffet (with limited food options) or the saloon. All the food options costs were very high, felt like we were being taken advantage of as it was difficult to leave the park just for food.

Very nice room and grounds . I enjoyed the pool, although not as warm as advertised. The location made it easy to get to many of the significant features of Death Valley. The meals were horrible and horribly expensive.

Dinner buffet for $34 was TERRIBLE! Almost empty trays of dry, old pork chops or fish. Soup and salad were ok but very overpriced for such poor quality food.
