Be prepared!
Staff and service was great. We were there for a dance convention and the challenge was the demand use of the elevators and only 3-4 out of 5 of the elevators were working all weekend. The Starbucks in the hotel didn't have enough supplies so many items were sold out all weekend.

The hotel is in the center of downtown Denver and surrounded by high rise buildings. There are places that the sun only hits for a few minutes each day. The wind whips through intersections. Our room was smaller than expected but was comfortable. The shower drain clogged up on our last night. The hotel bar was our favorite spot to use the $25/night credit that you pay $59 towards a mandatory fee. Two drinks and one appetizer was $62! Valet parking was $59/night and the car came back dirty. I'm not a city dweller and don't handle all the homeless people that well. None of them approached us but I wasn't comfortable around them. There is a definite problem in Denver. Security guards are virtually in every business near the hotel. We were there to watch dance competitions and the facility is excellent for that.
