Not a new favorite, unfortunately
Wanted to love this hotel but just...didn't. The room layout was strange (TV on a side wall that was hard to view, long bar-height workspace/desk directly behind the bed) and the street noise was much louder than I'd have expected, likely because I was in a corner room. I'm sure others have had a great experience but it just didn't do it for me.

I arrived late. The room I paid for was not ready. Everything was on top of the counter like they just finished cleaning (toilet paper holder, toilet seat, chairs, trash cans.) All the drawers were pulled out and all the lights were on. I thought at first they gave me an occupied room.

Top Notch Hotel
This was our 2nd visit. From the prompt and courteous valet, to the spacious and welcoming lobby, to the engaging and efficient front desk staff, to an immaculate and comfortable room that was consistently quiet, to the guest perks and easy access to the Dairy Block food/drink options, our stay was perfection at every turn.

Really great staff and awesome experience in downtown Denver. Several restaurants in the area offered discounts because we were staying at The Maven. The courtesy car offered free rides within 2 miles was a positive surprise!

Great Spot Near Everything.
We'd been to Dairy Block several times before, but had never stayed at The Maven. So recently we got reservations to Bruto in the Dairy Block and decided to make it a night out and we booked a room for the evening. The hotel and the staff are excellent, especially Vincent who was friendly and helpful. What's great about the Maven is that there's lots to see and do right in the lobby. Before dinner we enjoyed some live music in the Maven lobbt and then walked down the dairy bar to Moo where we enjoyed a cocktail on our way to dinner. In the morning we got some coffee from Huckleberry and enjoyed watching the snow fall from our corner guest room.

Very cool, chic and modern with a lot of very close and wonderful food drink options, free arrival cocktails, discounts at local businesses, friendly staff. Very cool decor, including airstream in the lobby for drinks. Loved it all and would come again. Only negative: Parking was pricey at $53 overnight.
