Oceanfront Suite with Hot Tub

The private Guest Suite is located on high bank oceanfront property, offering a cozy intimate space overlooking beautiful Maple Bay -- we've recently added a hot tub to the patio area. We are within walking distance of Maple Bay Beach, and a short drive to pubs, restaurants and hiking/biking trails.

Studio is complete with full piece bathroom. Kitchenette includes a small fridge, induction stove top, microwave/convection/air fryer unit.

Please note: There is a set of brick stairs from the driveway to the house (see photos), as well as a stone pathway to the Guest Suite. May not be suitable for those with mobility challenges.

Peaceful retreat
Lovely and inviting! We loved it here! So peaceful and restful, just what we needed. The suite was well appointed and comfortable. The host was so thoughtful with the extras and the hot tub was a nice touch on the beautiful patio. Would highly recommend and hope to be back!

Beautiful place
Lovely accommodation in a relaxing spot with hot tub as a finishing touch. All very well done. We found it difficult getting our luggage down the 33 steps in the rain. The steps were only mentioned a few days before you arrive. Also to walk down to the beach it was a pretty steep road with no pavement. Much to love but access not good for us.

Great getaway!
Room was very clean and cozy. Kathy (host) went above and beyond to make our stay a great one, with her little extra's that she added. Hot tub was right outside the door, and very private. Great view, lots to do in the area (Raptors, Hand of Man museum, Stoney Hill hike, Scottish restaurant) All in all, a great little getaway for MY Kathy's birthday. We'll be back and will definitely recommend it.

Lovely getaway at Maple Bay
Directions to the house were clear. Parking is up near the road but there's a spot closer to the house to stop for unloading and loading your vehicle. There are plenty of stairs, but they're wide and well-lit for the most part. Having a headlamp or flashlight would be handy. We saw our host briefly when we arrived. She and her pets greeted us warmly; otherwise were left to ourselves. Maple Bay is one of our favourite places, and the view from the suite didn't disappoint. The hot tub is a generous size for two people, and was clean. Our only issues were that it was difficult to lock the door, and one of the bedside tables inside was tippy so we avoided using it. We didn't use the kitchen, except for making coffee and tea. It was very quiet, and hearing the wind in the trees while in the hot tub was a highlight. It's a short drive to the marina (the Shipyard Pub there is pretty good) or to the town of Maple Bay. Both have convenience stores if you need anything. It was a relaxing stay. There's plenty of hot water and the bed was cozy. We would go back again for sure.
