Very nice upscale hotel but about a $28 pound taxi ride away from Edinburgh Airport. Expedia led us to believe that a free airport shuttle is available 7 days per week but in fact it’s not available on weekends. Remember M-F to book directly for the free shuttle. Food in restaurant is really good, with elevated prices to go along with the good food! Lounge area is very relaxed and comfortable. FYI, not associated with the hotel BUT, don’t bother booking a rental car with Hertz at the Edinburgh Airport, as that experience was absolutely horrible (do yourself a favor and check online reviews for Hertz at that location!

All was good and would stay again the only thing I would suggest is that they could advise you when you check in that there is no restaurant, bar food or room service after 9pm as the chef goes home, I know it’s on the menu but you only tend to look at that when you’re hungry.
