Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room, although small, was quite comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the towels were large and fluffy. Breakfast was great too.

Tiny Room.
Staff excellent. Reception area was lovely. Bedroom was tiny - no wardrobe just hooks on wall. No cleaning service. The price was good but not good enough to warrant the rooms not being serviced. Excellent location.

Lovely staff Tiny rooms
Hotel staff were really lovely and helpful although right on a busy road i heard no traffic noise. The only downside was the room and bed were really small. There wasnt a place to hang clothes and no kettle or hairdryer in the room. There was coloured mood lighting in the room but for me the practicalities of kettle and hairdryer would have been preferred.

Highly recommend for short trips (3-4 days)
To preface, we stayed in a cosy double room with a window. The room was everything as advertised, small but very well equipped. Bed was very comfy, the bathroom was clean and had very nice facilities. This hotel/room type is perfect for a few-day trip with minimal luggage (like a backpack), as storage is small. Staff was freindly, and accommodating for anything we needed help with. Additionally, they have a very easy check-in and check-out system which is self-service. The only minor critique is we didn’t get a towel change after 3 days (which was advertised) but that may have been because we were only there for 4 days. Ultimately, was very pleased with our stay, and if we were in Edinburgh again, we would very likely stay here again.

excellent friendly, clean and well located hotel
I would have given five stars for everything but the mattress was a bit lumpy and bumpy. Super friendly staff, good location. The bedroom although small was fine for me staying one night. The bathroom was great too. If only they would change the mattresses! I would go back there and do recommend it.
