One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Thought and effort has gone into every small detail. Staff was friendly and courteous and the food from the Ambar was excellent. This is the hotel I will be staying in from now on when I visit El Paso.

Hotel is nice. Rooms are clean and tidy. No ice machines. Price of the hotel is steep; cost of parking only adds to the cost. Food in Amber is good, but service needs improvement.

This has become one of my favorite hotels anywhere. Somebody put a lot of thought into decorating this place. Of course, the rooms are really nice, clean, and have a lot of modern touches. The bars are awesome places to hang out. It is very traditional southwest but at the same time very modern. That all makes a great hotel, but for me the little touches are what compelled me to write this review. Little things like always (24/7) having the valet guy available (nice when you have to leave at odd hours), or having the coffee station always out, or giving you a bottle of their wine when you check in. Everyone here - from the front desk to the waiters to the bartenders - does a good job and goes about it in a friendly way. This has got to be the best hotel in El Paso and perhaps in all of west Texas.
