Proximity to the mountains was great! That’s where the positives end. Let me be completely honest here. This facility is an absolute dump. It’s not just old and “in need of some work”. They haven’t updated much of anything for what appears to be decades. Peeling wallpaper everywhere, weird 70’s stove/fridge combination in room that likely has had no maintenance in years based on the volume of the compressor, paper thin walls. The rooms are definitely the worst part. The common areas are decent. The pools themselves are not great either with most areas in some state of disrepair. Won’t be back.

The staff isnt good at all! They avoided doing tasks at all costs. I asked them to clean the room and they just did not do anything. They also charged me a "resort fee" of $100 - so beware of that. Then when I complained that the staff wasnt doing their job they said they would refund me 2 days of resort fee - they did not do that. So they are here to make money but not service clients. I would not recommend this to anyone

Love stayimg here, hotel is nice and being right in nature is wonderful. You often get to see wildlife right outside your window and while your walking or driving around. If you want a great weekend getaway that's quite and relaxing fairmont hotsprings is the place to go. It's very close to Invermere/Windermere/Panarama as well as Radium Hotsprings so you can airways go and visit those places as well. The hotsprings and pools are within walking distance from almost all the rooms and the guest exclusive hot tub has a 15 walkway from the main hotel out to it for guests to use. I highly recommend checking this resort out.
