1. The owners were very polite, communicated quickly and positively!
2. The Location is EXCEPTIONAL! Within 5 miles of: WalMart, Sam's Club, Target, many restaurants, gas stations and much more.
3. Lots of room! Many different areas to gather in, 5 dedicated bedrooms and also couches to sleep on.
4. 3 very nice restrooms. Great showers!
5. The best laundry room! Iron, ironing board, washer/dryer, and lots of hanging racks.
6. The pool table was a huge hit with both our teens and the adults.
7. The patio area is great for grilling and relaxing, the pool is very nice, but had lots of leaves in it and the water was not heated as advertised.
8. We loved that there was no carpet. Made it feel cleaner.
9. The house and neighborhood are extremely quiet and there is a security system which is a huge plus!

Twice as nice
Stayed here two times for a birthday golf trip. The home is spacious and super clean. The owners are easy to contact and quick with answering questions before and during our stay. I can’t express how smooth the check in was. Looking to boom for a third time if it’s available January of 2023.

Ongoing maintenance during our stay
The house had a great location, and plenty of room for our large party. Glad to have the pool table and pool access.
Our main issue was that during our 6-day stay, the owner had maintenance out twice for the pool, twice for the roof, landscapers, and once at 7am on a Saturday morning for an electrician. Some of these he warned us of ahead of time, but some were unannounced. I feel like maybe these could have been scheduled for a time when the house was vacant. Also, there were motion activated cameras outside, so it was somewhat creepy to know that the owner knew of our comings and goings. While I do understand the owner wanting to make sure the property was well-kept, it seemed borderline invasion of privacy.
Overall, good location and lots of room were the main reason why we picked this house, so those did fulfill our needs.

2/3 of outdoor area unusable, trash everywhere, broken furniture and holes on wooden deck. Sunken pavers on the other side of house. I was charged for a mirror, a plastic tray in the refrigerator and 3 mattress protectors to the sum of $1050.00!

Complete frustration
Six friends and I reserved this property for one week while participating in the National Sr. Games. Upon arrival we found the property had been double booked! Host Christopher apologized and booked us another property in Homestead, FL., approximately 50 miles away. That property reduced the space available, fewer bedrooms & baths, and toll roads to and from. We were allowed to return to the Hollywood property 3 days later only to find the previous tenant had not vacated the property quite yet. The cleaning crew did not exit the property until 7:30 PM. While technically the Hollywood property matched the description, the photos online were very favorable to what we found. We had two bedrooms without closets and toilets that ran all day & night. Imagine trying to sleep while a toilet flushes once an hour. Previous reviews identify some of the same issues and have not be resolved.
So, for having the house double-booked for half our stay and relocated 50 miles away, we received $100 credit from the host. Christopher stated he must discuss additional refunds with VRBO. My chat with VRBO disputed this and stated any and all refunds are 100% up to the host. Finger pointing at its finest.
I have used VRBO for several bookings and will likely not do so again. During my chat with VRBO I was advised, "VRBO is only a marketing company." Thus, once you check-in, all bets are off with VRBO.
If you are simply looking for space & beds, this property will suit you just fine. I found the neighborhood to be quiet and conveniently located. However, I would not reserve this property again nor any property hosted by Christopher.
