The hotel is great but the area around the station is pretty dodgy—rough sleeping, and quite a few people who were drunk, on drugs, crazy, or all of these. I didn’t come to harm, but as an older woman, I would have been quite intimidated had I not had a younger family member with me.

Best value for money in central FRA.
Great value for money! Absolute central location, walking distance to downtown (or use the tram 2-3-stops...) Hotel is clean and comfy. Rooms are small but hey, go out and explore, this is not a resort. Receptionist was supercool and friendly and helpful. Good affordable restaurants at all 4 corners of the block...

First, the staff were very helpful relocating us to a new room when the toilet stopped working just hours after our arrival. They were also very helpful in finding us another room when our train ride from Frankfurt to Berlin got cancelled because of a railway personnel strike. Second, it would be great if the hotel would accept early check-in. We arrived in Frankfurt in the morning, 8:30, after some 29h on the road, but check in was 3pm. Overall we have really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
