We haven’t stayed in a La Quinta for a long time so thought we’d save $50-60…and give it a try. That was a mistake! The outside of the building was satisfactory but oh my!! As soon as we opened the door to our room my husband said…This room smells nasty! Being on the road all day and with me not feeling well…we decided to tuff it out. The bathroom floor and baseboards were ‘black’ (I took a piece of toilet paper and wet it wiping down the corners. It was groce!) There was mildew above the shower and the woodwork was dirty. Needless to say…we will pass up La Quinta and be happy to spend that $50 for a clean room. I would have voiced my complaint while leaving but no one was behind the counter at the time.

Stay In Kerrville
Dirty and smelly room and hallways. Not insulated well at all and the ac makes a musty smell when running. Needs remodeling and upgrades.

The staff was very nice and professional. This hotel was highly rated, but i am not sure how. The hotel was booked full on a Wednesday night and was very noisy. The walls seemed to be thin and you could hear the TV on both sides of my room. The room was dirty. There was hair on the sheets and on the bathroom sink. There was an old grape under the chair, and there was writing on the mirror near the bathroom that was not cleaned off. The writing appeared to be done with soap. Lastly, the room had an odor of a sweaty man. This room reminded me of a Motel 6, not a La Quinta. Disappointing.
