Great location for visiting the Alhambra
Great location if your main focus is visiting the Alhambra. Easy 15 mins walk to the city centre through a park down the hill, or very frequent small buses. The hotel is a lovely modern 4 star really, I'm not sure why it says 5 star. I had some issues with tv and phone not working but the staff tried to sort these out. There are no shops or restaurants for dinner nearby and the hotel food is limited. The bar area is small with not much atmosphere. If you are staying a few days I think being at the town centre would be better but overall was a good stay.

The bidet was far too small for an average size adult to use, but if one was tiny enough to manage, there was no soap or towel supplied, although there was a towel holder. The coffee mugs would not fit in the coffee maker and there were no instructions on how to use it. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable so it’s a shame to have these defects.

Comfort of the stay
The stay was amazing, two things could be improved: 1. more comfortable mattress (the one we had was too firm) and fuller pillows 2. separation wall with door between the bedroom and the sink’s area - when one person goes to the restroom during the night and then goes to wash their hands, the other person wakes up because the sink is in the bedroom.

The hotel room, staff and property itself was very good. However, for evening entertainment, it was a 25-minute walk downhill and requires a taxi on the way back. The hotel is conveniently located to the Alhambra but would recommend a hotel in the city center.
