The rooms are spacious and always clean. The staff are very helpful and the views from many of the rooms I've stayed in are absolutely spectacular. The St. Ives is close to all the city's best destinations. It’s my first choice when visiting Hobart.

It’s more like the 2 stars rather than 4 stars. When we checked in, there was no shower gel, no soap and when we requested for it, the front desk staff didn’t believe that our didn’t have it. Finally, they gave us two soaps for two days. The worst service I have ever had experience from the hotel in five different continents that I have been traveling in over 30 years

Super comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchenette. Very clean with daily servicing. Lots of parking. Elevator. Quiet. Very easy walking distance to docks, Salamanca and best bakery and Magic curries on Hampden Rd.

Great location, good for one night
Great location, walked everywhere. clean rooms and bathroom, room on floor level has a noise problem, we could hear loud water pipes when something next door was turned on. Could hear room next door. Smokers outside drifted into our room. Could not leave door open.
