Tons of screaming kids
The room and the location was fine. The staff was friendly and helpful. I wish there had been some sort of warning that 100+ 12 year old boys were staying with their families. We couldn’t use the pool because there were so many kids. The kids were up all night screaming in the hallway.

I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt on some things, we booked off-season…but still…how do you run a hotel with key cards without a working card machine? Luckily we checked in just before the only working keycard machine broke. Remaining guests had to be let into their rooms by the on-site maintenance guy…and then couldn’t leave their rooms conveniently. It turned into quite a scene. Restaurant food was pretty sub-par. Definitely search out somewhere else local to eat. Didn’t appreciate the “lifeguard” turning off the lights on the pool room 15 minutes before their scheduled close time. Place was packed and they could have found a better way to announce the upcoming closing time. This just felt lazy and rude. Overall the place wasn’t in too great a shape. Needs some investment in upkeep/repairs. Not the worst place I’ve ever stayed, certainly not the best.
