Pleasant but dated.
Pleasant stay but we checked in at 5pm on a busy Saturday and we were given room 11 -way upstairs at the top of the main building - in a room full of ‘lie ins’. The hotel rooms have varying shower/bath arrangements- room 11 had a bath under a ‘lie in’ with a shower attachment on the taps. You couldn’t stand up in the bath so had to crouch, kneel or sit down in order to achieve a shower in the morning ! Not ideal as I am 60 something with a bad shoulder !!! Phoned reception but no rooms to move to so no choice but to stay in room 11. Moved for the second night into the annex next door to the hotel - room nicer with walk in shower but just felt dated. The breakfast was good quality and staff were pleasant - the situ of the hotel is good for exploring and car parking on site. All in all decent enough but check shower/bath room facilities if you defo want a shower.

Comfortable hotel with a great restaurant
Traditional hotel on the river, a short walk from the city centre. I had a comfortable single room, but as usual for solo trips, it was tucked away in the car park. Eating here (breakfast and dinner) was a treat, and the service was friendly and efficient. Both evenings there was excellent, and not intrusive, entertainment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, from reception to the dinning experience. Check out 1100 but was allowed to leave our car until the afternoon.

Had a great night’s stay here, very comfy bed, great shower, quiet and spacious room, decent Wifi. Did not eat or drink here but it looked impressive. We loved the location on the river bank and a short walk to the town centre. Would recommend this one, if I’m ever back in Inverness I would stay here.
