Hotel was really nice and convenient. Has Netflix and nespresso machine. Center of everything. Really easy to sleep in as no natural light to wake you. Room has 5 light fixtures but still dimmed. Unfortunately you can hear people talking loudly in the hallway. & No fridge.

I stayed in an upgraded room with balcony. The balcony was amazing. Room was spacious with small frig. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, market 1 block away and 5 minute walk from ferry/ 5 minute walk to beach. I would stay again. Only problem was water. It went off for a short time twice, pressure was low and didn't get warm.

Cute hotel, close to the beach and restaurants. Needs a lot of tlc and fixing. The street it’s on was under water the whole time. Staff is amazing, friendly and helpful

We booked 10 min before we arrived and realized the hotel was not as advertised the shops empty it was dirty outside the shops of the hotel and room we saw smelled muggy and moldy. The manager was rude and refused to refund our money unless we spoke with expedia we called expedia to accommodate us and we where told the hotel would not answer so they could not give us our money back for services not rendered. Don’t get fulled with there false advertisement.

If you are looking for a basic place to sleep that is centrally located then the place meets that need. The rooms as small, and on the first floor don’t have windows. It is a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The more unpleasant issue is likely beyond the hotels control, when it rains all the streets are flooded. And as they are all dirt, the roads are a mess, with deep water and mud. We have heard from reliable sources the sewage backs up and seeps out when it rains. Which based on the smell of some of the roads I would tend to believe. We won’t be going back Holbox on any future trips to Mexico. If you are looking for a “Daytona Beach” party scene, with trashy vibe, this is your place.
