Stay was about average for a Hampton Inn. The only issue was shower. It literally poured a waterfall of water onto the floor from the shower door. When I told the front desk the looked at me like I was crazy because the rooms had curtains. Not sure why my room had a shower door, but it was near impossible to take a shower because all the towels had to be in the floor to soak up the water. I realized the problem was the shower head pointing at the shower door and the threshold plate at the door being angles outward instead of inward. Nothing I could do to stop it. Outside of that, location was extremely convenient for us and the breakfast was great. Beds were comfy, A/C was cold and room was clean. Just the messed up shower situation.

Horrible experience. Got two queen beds instead of a King. Refrigerator didn’t work, in fact the knobs were missing. Beds squeaked every time we moved and pillows were not very good. Told the desk and they just came up with excuses. Will not stay here again. On a positive….the breakfast was great!!

Overall a very nice hotel. It was clean, front desk was very friendly, breakfast was good. The carpet in our room was slightly worn and the AC didn’t quite chill the room enough which is why we gave an overall rating of 4. We would return if in the area again.

This was a first time staying at this property but definitely won’t be the last! The location can’t be beat for all things Jacksonville Beach, Ponte Vedra, and Mayo. The staff were competent, quick, and helpful. The room was very clean, and the amenities (pool, gym) were well kept! The breakfast gave a wide variety of options and the area was clean! The courtesy coffee/tea/water 24/7 was also a nice touch. I will be back!
