Jordan River~Pipers Nest~w/ Outdoor ClawfootTub

Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature in our guest cabin in Jordan River/Diitiida. Unwind in front of the indoor fireplace, have a coffee in the morning sun in the yard, soak in the outdoor Antique Claw foot Tub, or read a book in the loft under the stars.

The cabin is central to Jaun de Fuca's playground, were so many adventures are waiting to happen from hiking, beachcombing to storm watch.

About the Cabin:
Pipers Nest is a 400 square foot cabin with an open concept living area on our 2.5 acre property. Bright, modern, cozy and newly built, its set up for relaxing and ready to have you. The area in front of the house gets all the morning sun and is a great place to have your morning ritual. If it's more of the liquid sunshine kind of day we have a under covered patio that looks into the forest.

On the patio there is a private Antique Clawfoot Tub set up for you to relax in while looking up into tree tops. We provide Epsom salts to help your body fully relax.

The cabin has a gas fireplace inside that is great for feeling the warmth of a fire but not the mess or hassle.
Outside there is a small outdoor fire pit for having fires in when there is no fire ban. We supply everything you need to enjoy.

The floors are finished concrete and not heated, so we do suggest nice thick socks or bring a pair of your favorite slippers from home.

The bedroom is on the ground floor with high pine ceilings, making it feel open and big for a small space. There are a few places to hang up and put away your clothes if you want to unpack.

The Kitchen area has basic spices and oil for your use and we supply organic fair trade coffee beans, sugar and a variety of teas. It is a fully stocked kitchen for cook meals.

There is a air popcorn machine and we supply the popcorn. If you want to bring any toppings other than salt, we welcome you to enjoy.

The dinning area is cozy and features a live edge Maple slab of wood from a tree that came down on my parents house on Quadra Island, BC. Its been finished to highlight the beauty of this wood. This is a nice place to do work if your planning a working vacation.

In the bathroom we have Veganand Ethical soaps, shampoo/ conditioner and body cream for you to use. The Vanity is made with wood milled from our property with a natural clay sink hand made from Marrocco.

There is a Loft set up as a place to relax, read a book, star gaze through the skylight or just snuggle up and watch a movie if you bring a computer to do so on. The access is a steep ladder and the railings are low. Keeping this in mind as it's a great place to relax but not great for kids to play.

We have tried our best to create a natural, relaxing and welcoming environment for you when you come to our cabin. We hope you can unwind and enjoy what we love so much about this area and our home.

We live on the property as well, in the other house behind the cabin with our dog Enzo, a young brown and black Shephard Mix. During your stay will will give you lots of privacy and keep Enzo close to us. If he happens to come say hi, he is very friendly and is looking for pats. Please reach out through the VRBO messenger if you need anything at all and we will be happy to help in anyway possible. We want your stay to be wonderful.

Other things to note:
Power outages are not uncommon in Jordan River, especially in the winter months. There is a small power out kit a flashlight and some battery candles. Also without power there is no water, so a jug of cooking and drinking water is always stocked in the closet just in case. More instructions will be in the cabin.
If you have Rogers or Fido cell service you can still message but wifi will be not available in the scenario.

There are only a few coffee shops and restaurant's about 3-15 min drive from the cabin. The closest grocery store is Sooke which is about 30 min drive.
We would suggest grabbing some snacks and drinks before coming out to Jordan River.
