The man at the front desk is a real gem. You don't generally find that level of courtesy and respect in budget friendly accommodations. He gave me the extra set of towels I requested and brought an extra pillow to my room, all with a smile in spite of the inconvenience to himself for having to search the laundry room.
The room itself is about what can be expected in this price range. One bed had a small burn mark and the other had a stain, but the floors were not sticky, thank God, and the toilet was actually clean under the seat. Small annoyances such as the TV remote needing new batteries and the bathtub slightly on the small side for soaking were not enough to spoil our stay. I was, however, a little disappointed because I thought I booked a room that served breakfast, and this location, unfortunately, does not, although they do appear to have the capacity for it in what appears to be a dining area just around the hall from the front desk.
