VIP access is denied by hotels. Very noisy area especially the streets. Can be heard inside your room. Very clean. No lobby. Restaurant around the area are excellent. Time out market a minute walk from this hotel. Landmarks are also very close

Love this hotel! Great location and amazing staff. Everyone was friendly and very helpful! Only 1 complaint…we could hear the people above us stomping! So many restaurants to walk to but you must eat at the hotel restaurant! It was honestly the best meal we had during our trip. I wish I could remove our servers name because she is fabulous!

Great location, stylish rooms
I had the best stay at Independence Bica. The room interior was stylish yet functional, it was immaculately clean and the bath products offered fantastic, I loved the little balcony overlooking the street. The location is perfect and central yet quiet, right by the popular Timeout food market, close to a major metro station, the water, and within walking distance of all major sites in Lisbon. Staff were wonderfully warm, friendly, and kind.

Amazing location. Design of hotel is nice but if using a family room the bunk beds are incredibly high up with minimal guards for small children. We had a 6 yr old who moves around a lot in her sleep, it was fine but we were quite anxious in case she fell.
