LOCATION ,VERY NEAR RAIL STATION AND THEATRE.FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF.BREAKFAST EXCELLENT,BEDROOM AND BATHROOM CLEAN, BEDS COMFORTABLE. ROOM WARM AND COSY. VALUE FOR MONEY PRICE.HAVE USED THIS HOTEL SEVERAL TIMES AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS.WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO OTHERS.

Very convenient and good price
This hotel is right next door to Lime Street, so it’s perfect for me catching the 6 am train the next morning. Room was very clean and bed, very comfortable. Hotel could generally do with a bit of an upgrade and the noise from the station was pretty loud (it only seemed to stop from about midnight through till just after 4 am). Rooms could definitely do with some triple glazing!

An excellent choice...
The Liner is a well-priced spotless, comfortable and friendly hotel located in an excellent location. Our room was immaculate and well-equipped. We have no hesitation in recommending it as a good place to stay. We look forward to returning soon.

Stayed here a few times hotel and never had any issues sorry to say in this occasion a slight disappointment we paid £170 for one night was sure this included breakfast but on arrival for breakfast next morning to be informed that was not the case so had to pay an additional £24. Found this just a little expensive for one night b&b. Then to be served cooked breakfast that was cold made the stay a bit disappointing compared to previous stays.

Compfortavle but dont get breakfast
The room was noce and comfortable, it was clean and the reception was friendly, however the breakfast was one of the worst ive ever has. I have had warmer frappes and there was hair in my breakfast. When i complained nobody even cared. We jad booked to stay again in October before breakfast, bit after leaving the breakfast roomed cancelled it. We will try somewhere different next time.

Disappointing
Only here for 1 night, hotel staff were lovely. Downside was room smelt of smoke, there were half a dozen flies in the room, the radiator made constant noise. Tried turning off completely but didn’t help. Water pressure in the shower was really poor. Would have asked for a change of room if staying any longer, but was literally just a place to rest our heads. Unfortunately didn’t get much rest
