Check in wasn’t awful. Probably the best thing about the place. Unfortunately had a few issues. First I got a key to a room where someone already was. Then someone came in my room. Then the key cards wouldn’t work twice. So had to go back and to the front desk a lot more then I had planned.

The carpet everywhere lacks of hygiene. They should get rid of it. Rooms small and again very dirty carpet with stains and very unsanitary conditions. I had to use sleepers, sandals or shoes all the time.But don't get me wrong, staff is very nice and professional.

Room was extremely small but it was quiet. Breakfast was almost adequate. Limited choice of protein as the eggs and whatever else they were going to offer were not available. Some guests were extremely up and one made a scene that the staff I believe handled well. I would look elsewhere for a better hotel option. There is an I is down the road which is far better for the same money.

My new GO TO hotel at London Heathrow
The hotel is very nice and offers great value if you want to be close to Heathrow. It works out perfectly for me. The staff is very well trained and are high caliber! My first encounter was with Yarika at the front desk who pleasantly and efficiently checked me into room 502. While it was close to the elevator the room was completely silent from noise in the hall or airplane noise. I went down to the restaurant in the lobby and had a delicious and reasonably priced pizza and ice cold beer. My server and hostess was Simran and she could not have possibly been more gracious and personable. I had a great night sleep in the well designed and attractive room. In the morning I had the time to enjoy the ample and tasty buffet breakfast. Again, the staff members Hilda and Cleto, made all the difference. They were busy serving well over 100 people at the time I was there but they did it with a delicate balance of grace and urgency at the same time. Very impressive. Check out was a breeze and I took the Hoppa Shittle bus to the airport terminal right on time and plenty of room for my large suitcase. Overall my expectations Ibis London Heathrow far exceeded my expectations. Compliments to the management and staff who have made this my new London Heathrow go to hotel!

Hotel great but shuttle terrible and costs.
Shuttle only runs every hour and there are too many people for everybody to get on even late into the night. Taxi's run 20 pounds even though hotel is only 2 km away. You cannot walk from the airport.
