I had an excellent stay at the Lancaster Hall Hotel . The staff were *exceptionally* nice and accommodating. I thought it was an outstanding value- A great price for a simple but spacious room (city standards), very nice bath (WITH tub), super comfortable bed. It was spotless. The windows are great at blocking out street noise. AND the location is fantastic! It is a block from Hyde Parke and a 5 minute walk to Paddington Station or Lancaster Gate Tube stop . The area was safe and I found the street itself pretty quiet. One small negative is that the doors are thin so corridor noise travels easily, so you may want to have earplugs just in case. But I would stay again in a heartbeat

Location is perfect, close to public transports, little coffee, green areas, etc Room was clean and bed confortable. Breakfast is good.. more continental… no scrambled eggs etc but enough to eat to prepare for a long walking day in London
