The hotel is very convenient to Heathrow airport so we could easily get to our flight the next morning, though finding it would be difficult without GPS.
HOWEVER, at check in we were told we could leave our car parked in front of the hotel door while we deposited our luggage and got ready to go to dinner in London. With a permanently disabled placard, parking in the basement car park would demand carrying luggage to the lift with great strain on my spinal stenosis. Despite being parked only for an hour, months later I received a parking violation summons by mail with a fine of £100. I wrote to explain the front desk staff told us we could park there but the only response to date was an additional demand to pay that fine.
Any patron needs to know this blatant attempt to force patrons to pay a fine so clearly unwarranted.
