Just a Bad Experience
In the middle of the night, the fire alarm went off in the entire hotel because of the steam from a shower. After the firefighters showed up and declared it was nothing but steam, we went back to the room just for the alarm to continue to go off for absolutely no reason. This was from 3:40 AM to 8:30 AM they could not get the fire alarm to stay off. The bathroom was not clean and had old hair in the bathroom and I was getting bit by something in the bed. The TV was nice and a nice size and the AC was good. Good amenities in the room like microwave and fridge but it was overall just a bad experience. I usually like hiltons and doubletrees but this was not a good experience. Especially for me to be working until 2 am and had to go back to work at 7 am. The fire alarm was awful. Especially for it to be for no reason at all. And the fact it continued for hours on end throughout the night is unacceptable

Yes, its true, the property is old and desperately in need of an update, but my stay was great. The room was clean, the bedding comfortable, the staff was amazing, interqcted mostly with Cybthia at the front and she was very knowledgeable, courteous and service oriented. I get that some people go into an establishment looking for a resson to complain, but i have no reason to regarding this property. Oh, and free parking...in an L.A. area hotel... totally unheard of!!!
