We liked the convenience of the MyPlace motel, it was just a short distance from shopping, and the LDS Lubbock Temple. The staff were friendly and the room was quiet/clean...and the bed was comfortable.

The person who checked me in gave us a very smelly room. In fact, I noticed the window was cracked open even though the air was on. A red flag. There was something questionable rotting in the refrigerator. The phone didnt work. Discovered a dead baby toach on the key pad. My husband went down in person to ask to be moved. She said she "thought" she noticed a smell in that room earlier. We then were able to move across the hall. Why weren't we given that room initially? The room smelled fine. However. In the middle of night I saw 2 roaches in bathroom.

Well every thing was great with the place and and the desk clerk I checked in with no problem but ended up having to leave about two hours after arriving my wife who has been in umc for five and a half months passed away and I had to get to the hospital as quickly as I could but yes everything up until that happening was great no complaints
