Located in the heart of the town, one block away (1min walking) from the chapel bridge, old city and train station. At check in we were given free train tickets and breakfast was included and delicious. In my opinion the only downside were the bed which was hard a rock and the room temperature which was very hot. I do recommend this hotel location is a must, the city is magical.

We arrived there around 8h30pm and Expedia shows that parking is available. That is not true. We had to drive around Lucerne for about 40 minutes to find a parking spot, 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We had to pay 18 francs per night to park on the street. Not a good start. While I was looking to park the car, my friend who just had a surgery on both feet and has a very hard time to walk was loading the elevator on her own while buddy at the reception was more preoccuped by his cell phone than helping her. It would have been nice to know that we had access to the lounge. That was discovered the next day while having breakfast. The 2 free drinks are 2 small bottles of water. We were supposed to have 2 each for the 2 nights but only got one. We found the room a bit small for the price. Location, lounge access and breakfast were great.

Hotel is fine. Centrally located and comfortable. Reason for the negative review is the construction that started at 3:30 on the street side of the hotel and went through the night. Heavy equipment that shook the building at times. Woke and kept us up. No heads up from the hotel. Make sure you check and ask.
