Great Family Gathering Venue
I'm not sure where to start! I hot to have all my kids & grandkids together in one venue at one time to view the annular eclipse, visit Capitol Reef, launch rockets, go on hikes, play board games and eat fabulous meals cooked in the amazing on site kitchen! The suites and cabins are everything you could ask for, as well as the entire grounds. A great time was had by all!

Reunion with Friends
We stayed at the thousand lakes lodge with our friends for the best time. There's a huge fire pit out side for endless smores. We smoked meat on the smoker and cooked breakfast on the black stone grill. The kitchen inside was huge so it made it easy to prepare food and eat. We mostly ate outside. We rode our atv's on some trails near the lodge. The grocery store in Loa had plenty of selection for the few things we forgot. Inside the lodge the kids had fun with the video games and we sang a lot of Karaoke and even line danced in the main lodge. We are already planning our next friend reunion and will definitely keep this place in mind for next time. Dave was super easy to coordinate with and check in and check out was a breeze. I would go back again.

Perfect Place for a Big Group!
This place is awesome! Our family loved the fun individual cabins. Everything was super clean. The kids loved the cool built-in bunk beds as well as the playground and grass areas. We played pickle ball, cooked on the grills, and had fun roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. There was a ton of fun things to do outdoors all around the area. As far as food goes, we mostly cooked ourselves but we did head down the road a few minutes and tried Curry Pizza for lunch. It sounds odd, but it was way good! They have normal flavor pizza too. There is also a market close by if you need it. Overall, we loved our stay and definitely plan on coming back!

Family friends and family getaway
The property was immaculate and freshly remodeled. The rooms were perfectly sized and the A/C was great in the cabins (must me a recent addition). There was plenty of room for our 6 families. The kids had space to run around and not be on top of the adult. It’s close enough to Capitol Reef and Fish Lake to enjoy a hike in the morning and the sunset at the lake. I definitely recommend this property and will be booking again.

HS XC Camp
This was a perfect location for our high school team cross country retreat. Plenty of room for our large group of 45. The gathering area in the lodge provided ample tables and chairs for eating and sofas for relaxing. The large kitchen was well stocked and nicely updated. The large capacity refrigerator and freezer offered plenty of space for our food for the week. The outdoor amenities included pickle ball, basketball, a playground set, huge Blackstone for cooking, a smoker, and newly planted grass. The location was near enough to many beautiful running trails for our kids to get some high altitude training and was a lot of fun for the kids as they bonded during summer workouts and runs. The downsides were few but there were some. The AC had not been installed in time for our stay and it was a sweltering 85+ degrees in the lodge and cabins for much of the week. The property is also located across from a small airport and there were planes coming and going at random times throughout the day and night, with a rotating green light that would shine into the bedrooms in the main building. Blinds and windows had to stay open due to the lack of AC so the light would get very annoying. The neighbors also have a dog that likes to bark in the early morning hours, and with windows open, that got annoying as well. The stove took quite a bit of time to boil water, but that is to be expected at such high altitude, just something to be aware of. All in all, this was a wonderful place

Stay at thousand lakes lodge
This was a great place for our family reunion. The property had plenty of space for everyone. We had 45+ people. This property underwent some recent renovations and there were some minor issues by and large this was the perfect place to stay.
