Nice view of the river
The staff were very friendly. This hotel is across the river. Our room had a great view of the river. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. Great selection of fruit, cereal, and bread.

Great hotel in a safe and quiet area. Just minutes from shopping, the train station, the bus station, and many great restaurants. They met us at the train station, took our bags and led us right to the hotel. The breakfast was great in the morning. It was clean and the staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Here's a refined version of your review: This hotel is a true gem in Aguas Calientes. The property is beautiful and is complemented by a staff that is exceptionally attentive to all guest needs. The front desk staff were excellent and helpful, and they connected us to a great guide who helped us with getting tickets to Machu Picchu, getting on bus, etc. Wonderful balcony right on the river, room was basic but all we needed.

Edison met us at the train station and helped get our bags to the hotel. Gisela checked us in and when I asked about a clinic for my husband, she called a clinic and arranged for a doctor to come to the hotel because I looked like a deer in headlights and I was unable to navigate what was needed. The doctor knew exactly what my husband needed and provided immediate care. Within two hours my husband was much improved. On the day we were going to Machu Picchu, Edison was up and provided an early breakfast cooked by the kitchen staff. Ou room faced the river and it was spectacular. Should I ever return to Agus Calientes I would stay at Sanctuario Hotel, never looking for another hotel. Thank you to all the staff at Sanctuario.
