Not a Great Stay
It was a bunch of stuff that went wrong at the same time. We were in town for a wedding so we weren’t in the room much. I went to wash my hands and the hot water was brown. Apparently they were working on a pipe. Nothing was mentioned. Next, we wanted breakfast and when we went to the breakfast area there was water coming out of a light fixture. They kept closing the overhead door with us trying to get breakfast. We weren’t sure if we needed to go, but we got the feeling we weren’t supposed to be there. If something is wrong and you need us to leave… SAY SOMETHING! People were very confused who were coming down to breakfast. There was a very loud fiesta at almost midnight. Thank goodness we were on the fourth floor. Also, the pillows were lumpy and hurt my neck. There was no shade on the window, so the light from the parking lot flooded our room. My wife told me a young woman let the staff have it so we didn’t need to. We don’t stay in Madison much, but it won’t be here ever again.

We were there on a Saturday night. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The place felt safe & well run even though it isn't an fancy place. We did not touch the kitchen or use the tv. Just the shower & slept. They do have coffee but did not have real cream, just the chemical Coffee Mate stuff. Breakfast was typical hotel food.
